In yesterday's games:

Purple (#2) defeated Green (#6) 17-8.  Despite missing a couple of key
players, Purple was able to pull away from a game green team.  

In a close game, Red (#3) defeated Black (#7) 17-14.

Grey (#5) was able to shake off a 2 game losing streak and defeat Straw (#1)
17-10.

Blue (#4) defeated White (#8) without Captain Cogan 17-10.

The standings are as follows:

Purple 4-1
Red 4-1
Blue 4-1
Grey 3-2
Black 2-3
White 2-3
Green 1-4
Straw 0-5

This sets up a key game on wednesday between Purple and Blue.  Red takes on
Straw in the other matchup.

This just in off the AP wire.  RIPUL has decided to no longer frequent
Tortilla Flats after games.  Besides the horrible food and indifferent
service, as yours truly so eloquently stated to the bartender last week, "This
place just sucks!!".  

Oliver's on Brook Street is the new bar of choice.  Hope more of u will join
us after games there.  We usually have a group of at least 10.
