Games need to start at 6:00 PM, not 6:30 PM. There are games scheduled for this Monday July 5th. If you definitely CANNOT play, let me know. I want to make sure there will be enough people there. All my e mails, the schedule, and standings, and much much more are all located at the most excellect web site maintained by Loring Holden of the Purple team. The url is http://www.cs.brown.edu/~lsh/ripul/ Check it out! In action Monday night, Royal (#3) took on Key Lime (#2). Key Lime coming off an impressive victory over White was without the services of its top male dog Bob Yakota. After losing a tough opening night loss to white, Royal is starting to gel and grabbed a 17-11 victory. Both key Lime and Royal stand at 2-1 for the season. On the other Brown AC field, White took on Purple. Purple jumped out to an early lead but White quickly rebounded and grabbed a 9-4 halftime lead. White played plenty of zone in the gusty wind which caused many forced and unforced turnovers. White received contributions from the entire team. Stephanie Kissam, Edric Chiang, and Lydia Misch all strted to get "it,", along with the usual crew of Captain Cogan, Kyle Weisbrod, Whitney Kakos and Max Crossley. Yeah White!!! Navy (#5) took an early lead on Grey (#8) but quickly fell apart. Grey only has a couple of male subs right now but their core of men is very strong lead by captains mad dussault and dave "doughboy" rosenberg, ian fischer and the ever-present Tim McBride who managed to dominate another summer league game while still playing with a cast on his left arm. Liz Willets, Anne Mcginn, and Megan Nolan lead a solid group of women. Grey went on to win in convincing style 17-8 and are the only undefeated team left at 2-0. Nice job, Grey. Green (#6) took on Black (#7). I don't know too much about the game other than Green won 14-12. Congrats to Dave Toohey for his 1st summer league victory in 2 years!!! Games Tonite: Green (#6) v.
