They like big hucks and I can not lie You other cutters can't deny When the team comes in with the ittty bitty throws And they all have Cheap-ass flow THEY'LL GET HUNG Cause Denim tough and before they score, they STUFFF Their play is smart but ddaring the sidelines can't stop staring OH Baby we want to play ya Looks like a picture... (Repeat 10 times) Burgundy (17) vs. Green (11) by Cory Byrum of Screaming Green: Patience. Patience. Patience. Does anyone have some to spare ? I learned after the game from our League Director Matty that Burgundy secretly switched our box of Chilly O's cereal with a box of Folgers Crystals. We could tell the difference? But it was too late. The game was tight at first since the caffeine hadn't kicked in. Without our Captain Scott the greens decided to be mean and fierce and tough. No smiles today, it was business. Well that didn't work. Back to :-) I say. Burgundy and the Screaming Greens score 3 piece in a couple of tightly contested points. Then the caffeine hit and everything went to hell. Poor decisions ran rampant and I was the first to kick off a string those. Burgundy's deep men had no problem swatting away our attempts to punch the disc forward prematurely. Burgundy converted on our mistakes without to much difficulty and took half 9-5. After the half Screaming Greens started to rally. We turfed a pass on our own line really quick but then vowed to make up for it. We said we would have patience but we didn't. I threw hammer to Mo for a score but can anybody say Ginsu? Yikes? I benched myself after that. Once again we had Hope as he came up with a great D that lead to a score. Colin also played a very good game as the caffeine seemed to affect him less then most. He scored at least one point for the greens. Megan also played a lot chillier then most. We were able to close the gap to 10-13 before the caffeine destroyed our chances. Burgundy seized the day 17-11. All in all it was a very quick and good spirited game. We were able to play a game of pickup ( skin's won ) and still caught the conclusion to the Denim vs. White which was really close.
