Last night finished up the regular season.  

Grey (#5) took on Black (#7) looking to wrap up 3rd place.  The game was
pretty close throughout as both teams seemed to have trouble getting their
offenses in gear.  There were quite a few points that lasted at least 5
minutes as each team committed numerous turnovers.  It might not have been
pretty but Grey was able to withstand a determined Black squad something like
16-12.

For their victory, Grey is able to receive the just reward of playing Black
once again on Monday.

In the other game, White (#8) defeated Green (#6) something like 15-8.  

Final regular season standings are as follows:

1) Purple 6-1
2) Red 6-1
3) Grey 5-2
4) Blue 4-3 (they end up ahead of white because they beat White)
5) White 4-3
6) Black 2-5
7) Green 1-6
8) Straw 0-7

Accordingly, Monday's quarterfinal games are as follows:

Purple v. Straw (Hope High)
Blue v. White (Lacrosse Field)
Grey v. Black (Tennis Court field)
Green v. Red (Baseball diamond)

The winner of the 1/8 game plays the winner of 4/5
The winner of 2/7 plays the winner of 3/6
on Wednesday July 29th.

Losing teams can play pickup on wednesday.

Finals are set for Monday August 3rd with a big party to follow.  Hope
everybody can attend.
