RIPUL:

We had about 50 people out last night for the 1st night of summer league.  
Scotty Too Hotty made the introductory remarks and lead the group around the 
field for the ceremonial first lap.  We then broke up and ran drills for the 
less experienced for a bit while the experienced players played pickup.

For those of you still learning the game, tomorrow and next Monday and 
Wednesday are the BEST time to figure on what's going on on the field and 
receive individualized help.  We will be running drills every night.  

For those of you who dont own their own disc, there will discs for sale by 
Dave Rosenberg for $8.  Everybody in RIPUL should own a disc and bring it to 
every game.  The quickest way to get better throwing is to do it every day 
and you cant throw every day if you dont own a disc.  So buy a disc and throw 
every day.

Right now I have 48 men and 19 women signed up, including the captains.  
Signups will be limited to 88 men and 40 women, which breaks down to 11 men 
and 5 women for all 8 teams.   Hopefully, we will have just enough players 
but dont be a slacker, get me those signup forms and checks ASAP.  The draft 
is next Thursday night.
