Greetings everyone,

Now that summer league has come to a close, many people are still having the
itch to get out there and play some disc. In order to allow you to scratch
that
itch, I am proposing to run a smaller and somewhat less formal Fall League.
The
vision is probably a 4 team league.

Tenatively, the idea is to play at URI on Sunday's at 4pm because that is when
URI practices and they will provide at least one team themselves. In
addition,
they have graciously offered to let us use their fields, which are free.
Another night will be scheduled during the week (Wednesday?) in Providence or
Seekonk depending on where we can get two fields. If we can get free fields,
great, if not there might be a small fee per person to cover the cost of the
fields for the Wednesday night game.

The schedule would run at least through September and October. There has also
been a suggestion to run an A and B game so that any novices can have an
easier
game to work with. However that is just an idea right now and I am open to
any
other ideas you may have.

But first things first. Please email me as a confirmation if you are
interested
in playing so I can get a head count. Also give me your feedback on traveling
to South Kingston (a whole half hour away!) as we need firm commitments.
Please
give me an email address that I can get back to you at.

Thanks and I hope to hear from you soon.

Scott
