Burgundy came out strong starting with the lead. Things were clicking, until Denim made a run to take the 2--1 lead from Burgundy to make it 6-6, 7-6, 8-6 and then they took the half 9-6. The first half was intense, with good spirit all around. Lucky never stopped running, the denim women played savage and the hucks were looking good on both sides. But the real excitement was the second half. Burgundy started on defense, but score the first point. From there points were traded. Denim had a solid offense to burgundy's zone defense and denim threw a nasty zone. THe game was 15-11. Burgundy got pumped. Burgundy was not ready to just roll over and lose. THe next thing we knew, it was tied at 16s. There were hot grabs in the endzone, some great defensive plays and a lay out grab in the endzone by burgundy captain Karl. At this point, Denim put the heat on taking the lead 17-16 and then scored to win the game. All around it was well spirited and hard fought on each side.
