Team Yellow wore dark shirts in order to avoid confusion, since the
difference between the Daisy and Yellow colors is close to
indiscernible. It was oppressively hot at game time, so wearing dark
was major. In any case, I bet RIPUL teams would be given t-shirts with
different shades of yellow if it meant our league elders could save
money on t-shirts.
Hannah "Second Game" Vu had an awesome cut in the end zone for Daisy.
Jeremy Fisher of Yellow is apparently relatively new, but played deep
and was consistently open. A major key for Daisy was limiting my
playing time (4th losingest RIPUL player ever) - Scott said I confused
him by subbing out after only one point, but I don't buy it. The upside
is that I ache less today.
Daisy's cheer was a variation on the traditional "Row, Row, Row Your
Boat"

Yellow's cheer was based on "A Bicycle Built for Two", written by Harry
Dacre in 1892. This choice probably has something to do with a chorus
that starts with "Daisy, Daisy/Give me your answer do". This song is
probably best known as the song Hal sings in 2001 soon before he "dies".
You can listen to Hal's version at:

(Yellow sang it faster)
