This game started out looking really good for Brown with a couple quick
points to start. Then Blue went on their own little spurt, taking adavtage
of the Brown/Shebui zone. The game eventually evened out at 7s. Shebui then
scored on a long huck, followed by a Blue score. Brown eventually took the
half 9-8.
During half time in the Shebui huddle it was decided that the real problem
we were having was the nickname. Shebui simply wasn't working. Team Rickshaw
rose from the ashes of last weeks victory to ride 'em again. At first,
Rickshaw started slow, with excellent play by Blue keeping the game close.
Then Rickshaw started rolling, and when Rickshaw rolls, there is no defense
strong enough.
The game was closed out 17-10. The score does not really give credit to an
incredible game by Blue, including spectacular catches and tight D. But the
big Brown/Rickshaw machine cannot be stopped easily.
The cheers involved a quick play on "roses are red, violets are blue" by
Rickshaw, hoping first would save us from the shame of our creativity void,
and a clever ryhming cheer by Blue.
