I received a telephone call from Wheeler this morning regarding our use of
the fields last night. The main complaint was that we are parking
illegally on both the track and fieldhouse parking lots. If you are not
parked in a legal spot, i.e., between the white lines, then do not park
there. If you show up late and there are no spots left, there is a huge
parking lot that can be accessed off walker street. There is an entrance
with a sign for wheeler school on the left side of Walker street before you
reach the fields at the end of the road. Go down the dirt road and take a
left and there is a lot that leads to the backside of the fieldhouse
field. Bottom line, park legally.
The second complaint was that there were people still on the fields at 9:15
P.M. We need to be off the facilities, and that means you are in a car
leaving, by no later than 9:00 P.M. If you want to socialize, do so
at Red Bridge Tavern.
The last complaint was that people did not clean up their mess,
specifically on the track, last night. There are garbage cans around
the fields to use. Please pick up after yourself.
In other news, Chip Dietrich, Orange's captain, wanted to make the
