RIPUL finals

Thanks to Matty Brier and Scott Mathieu for putting together a great
RIPUL season.  Before the awards ceremony, Scott and Tanja Wiant gave
them proclamations signed by all the attendees thanking them for 10
years service to RIPUL.  Thanks also to all the captains and players for
a wonderful summer.

June Park is the first RIPUL player to win the Most Improved award
(1997) and the Toby award (2005).  This is not only a credit to June,
but also to the longevity of RIPUL and its promise for nurturing new
players.  But in the past, 60% of RIPUL players stopped playing RIPUL
after one year.  This year there were 78 new RIPUL players - hopefully
many will return next year.
