First game report

Ok, since Matty admonished us...  
  
Light Blue (Acid Washed Denim) 17 vs. White (Whitey Tighty) 13  
  
Close game that could have gone either way, lead changed multiple times.  Interesting that the standing and record vs. the same opponent suggested they were about the same, and sure enough....  
  
White played a stiff zone defense on most points while light blue stayed with gender-across 'man'.  White went 4-3 for a few points but blue stated 5-2 since blue only had 4 women and were desperate for a win.   
  
After the half, blue built a 5 point lead but white closed it to two at 15-13 before blue scored the last two.  Every point was well contested.  
  
One highlight of the game was a brilliant pull by white that was about a yard out and then tailed back in at the back of the endzone and actually tipped the back cone over.  Blue insisted the the line was itself out, so declared it a 'brick', but it was cheap-o call.
