RE: RIPUL scores

Game report June 9th Silver vs Kelly Green
By Mike of Silver Mullet

It was a hot and steamy evening for ultimate and the Silver Mullets were
looking to get into the win column for the first time this season. The
Mullets had played a couple of close games during the first week and
hopes were high that this might be a game where the disk might be
bouncing their way. Mean Joe Kelly Green had other ideas however as
they quickly raced out to a 7 - zip lead. And when I say quickly, I
mean like really fast as the Mullets found themselves down big after
about 10 min of play time. The Mullets re-grouped nicely however to
trim the lead to 9-6 at half. The second half saw the Mean Joe Kelly
Green lead cut to 11-10 and then finally erased on a big cross-field
hammer from Jaime to big Rob Hancock. At but MJKG isn't about to roll
over as Dan DiMas uncorks a huge backhand to streaking downfield
receiver to bring the game to 13 all. After a lucky breakmark throw for
a score that bounced off a MJKG defender and again by the intended
receiver, the Silver Mullets had retaken the lead for good at 14-13.
But MJGK isn't done as they score two straight to trim the Mullet lead
to 16-15. After another nice catch by Rob Hancock, the Silver Mullets
finally punch in to the endzone for a 17-15 win.
