Monday's game of Orange vs Kelly Green was the most exciting game of RIPUL thus far. Orange started out strong, taking a quick 5-1 lead. Kelly Green called a quick time out, and started to make a comeback to bring the score to 5-3. Orange continued their rampage taking, half at 9-5. There were many hucks from BILL to Mel and Rob that left Kelly Green eating their dust. After halftime, Kelly Green started to mount their comeback. Good flow, hard defense, and patience helped push Kelly Green to go on a run and tie the game at 12s, just as the cap came on. Kelly Green got a quick D and scored upwind to make it 13-12. Off of another Orange turnover, Nathan J throws a perfect flick to the corner of the endzone, where Palin rushes in to pull it down and secure a Kelly Green victory, 14-12. Palin finished strong, scoring the last 3-4 points of Kelly's scores. Orange won the cheer, however, as Ray Richardson, with the help of Kayla Rivard, lives up to his title as the Poet of RIPUL.
