Kelly Green vs Vegas Gold

The Kelly Green and Vegas Gold rematch proved to be more exciting than their first game.  Once again, the Vegas girls played savage (kudos to them), while Kelly Green has all of their players at the game (for the 1st time!).  The teams traded points at the beginning, but Gold's zone defense was a force to be reckoned with.  Kelly was able to get some deep throws off, but Vegas continued to punish with their zone, taking half 9-5.  Slime Time Live would not give up, as they came out of half firing, with solid, patient handling and popping.  Kelly brought the game back within striking distance, after being able to maneuver through Gold's cup.  With Matty away at North street, captains agreed to a soft cap with the game tied at 14s. Both teams were able to score an upwind point to bring the game to universe point, as players joined the sidelines as their games ended to watch the exciting finish.  As Vegas pulled to Kelly, their zone came down hard and left Kelly trapped on the sideline.  2 beautiful cross-field hammers from Shaun 'Tubs" Doherty helped Kelly open the field up and eventually score, winning 16-15.  Vegas, however, won the cheer, as Andrew Ghali left everyone in stitches with a hilarious, yet slightly controversial, cheer.
