Brown started out firing in the game vs Gold aka Butterfinger, and went on a 3-0 to start the game. Gold got back into rhythm and traded points for a while. Brown took half 9-6 after playing patient zone offense, working their way around Gold's cup. Gold turned things around in the 2nd half. Phil Nelson pulled down some clutch deep throws for Gold. After an upwind goal following a TO, Gold was ahead 12-11 as the soft cap went on. Brown scored up wind to tie the game at 12s. They continued their streak and scored downwind off another Gold turnover and was ahead 13-12. Brown worked the disc upfield, and Gold forced a turnover just before the endzone. After a few quick throws, Gold scored to bring the game to 13s, universe point. As the pull went up, Gold's cup rushed down and forced another turnover. Gold was able to work upwind and score the final point to win 14-13. Andrew Ghali let everyone in his favorite 'offensive cheer' that gave everyone a good laugh.
